Diabolos - Empyreum - Ward 14 - Plot 32
The Oldrose Lounge is a den of mortal pleasures hidden beneath a bookstore of the same name, in a district of the city-state Ishgard. Alcoholic drinks, gambling, and dark themes mean that only those of age 18 and over may enter.By attending you assure us that you are of age, and that you will abide by our rules. Compliance is the best way to ensure comfort and enjoyment for both yourself and all others attending the lounge.
Out-of-Character Rules:
These rules are not optional, and will be enforced appropriately.
- You must be legally 18 or older to enter and attend, for the comfort and safety of yourself and others. Furthermore, your character must be an adult in all ways of the word. That's 18 years or older.
- ERP must be kept to non-public channels. While risqué matters can be fine in public, anything which would require genitalia (including but not limited to ejaculation and/or penetration) are not.
- Put away your minion and summon. There are some cases where a character has some manner of companion which makes sense narratively. This is permitted, when venue population is relatively low.
- Basic lore compliance. The first rule of the game's lore is that there is plenty of room to flourish creativity and create your own. This only becomes an issue when the Dovahkiin from Skyrim walks through the door.
- Common respect. In-character confict will happen in any dramatic narrative, but it becomes an issue when it reaches out-of-character. Treat other players with respect, or you will be removed.
- SFW Lalafell. While appropriately acting Lalafell are fine to be present in the lounge, those who engage in anything NSFW, or otherwise unseemly, will be removed.
In-Character Rules:
These rules will not result in out-of-character consequence, and are only sometimes enforced.
- Dress Code. While what we do isn't pretty, our people should be! That means shirt, shoes, and no hats indoors.
- No heretics. We may be beneath the law, but we're not crazy! Voidsent and other aetheric monstrosities may be politely asked to leave, if they are not discreet. Dragons are on thin ice!
- No attacking patrons. Fights happen, but there's a time and place. Take it outside, or at least a bit further away from other guests.
- No singing or barding without permission. ...Unless you're good.
The bookstore will feature a collection of custom book titles and summaries which can be found in The Oldrose's bookstore front. At the moment, it seems to be closed.

Name: Savella
Profile: She/Her, Asexual
Position: Proprietress
About: An eccentric and somewhat aloof businesswoman, with her fingers deep in shady operations all across Hydaelyn. Recently, she purchased the Oldrose Lounge from its founder, and has begun investing in it heavily.
The Oldrose began during Archbiship Thordan VII's reign, to find reprieve under a difficult government and even more difficult times. Liquors, dusts, gambling, company, and any other sort of otherwise-unapproved-of forms of entertainment are bountiful here- even if the Archbishop's time in rulership is over, and Ishgard's whole structure is seeing reconstruction.
Those who attend The Oldrose may be individuals favoured by the lady Savella herself, or may simply be otherwise unoccupied folk looking to enjoy an evening away from their lives' troubles. Entry is restricted to only those permitted by the establishment, hidden beneath the vast book collection which makes the store's front.
